Customise installHUB’s forms
Rename or hide questions, mark them required, and add your own questions and sections to any installHUB form. Questions installHUB locks keep their place and still take a new label or a required setting. Your changes stay when installHUB updates the form. See how this fits alongside surveys and assessments.
Build your own forms
Start from a template, a blank page or a copy of a form you already have. New form offers ready-made templates to start from. Drag in text, choices, photos, signatures and more, and drag a question onto another section to move it. A field can start filled in from the customer, your company, the job or another answer.
Add rules: show, hide or require
Add a rule to any question so it shows, hides or becomes required when an earlier answer is, is not, contains or is answered. Preview the form as the customer or the field operative sees it, then Publish. History keeps every version to restore.
Add a form to the right jobs
Add a form to every job for a work type or a job type, or keep it to add by hand to one job when you need it. Field operatives pick it up on their next sync, with a New pill showing who added it.
A PDF of the answers for the customer pack
When a form is completed, a PDF of the answers joins the job’s documents, with your branding, photos and signatures. Turn on Include the PDF in the customer pack and it goes out with the rest of the pack. Customers never see the completed form itself, only the answers PDF, and only when you switch that on.
Partner versions
Give the jobs from one partner their own version of an installHUB form, so a partner’s work asks exactly what that partner needs. Useful when you run an installer network.

What is the installHUB form builder?+
It is where you customise installHUB’s forms, build your own and add rules to any question, all from the Forms menu. It is available on the Pro plan.
Can I add my own questions to one of installHUB’s forms?+
Yes. Open the form in Forms, add questions and sections, mark questions required, then Publish. Your additions stay when installHUB updates the form.
Can I build a form from scratch?+
Yes. Choose New form and start from a template, a blank page or a copy of a form you already have, then drag in text, choices, photos, signatures and more.
How do I show a question only when it is needed?+
Add a rule to the question so it shows, hides or becomes required based on an earlier answer, for example show it only when another question is answered Yes.
How does a form reach a job?+
Add it to every job for a work type or a job type, or add it to one job by hand. Field operatives get it on their next sync, with a New pill showing who added it.
Can my customer see the completed form?+
No. Customers do not see completed forms. If you switch it on, a PDF of the answers can go out with the customer pack. It does not appear in the customer portal’s documents.
Can a partner have a different version of a form?+
Yes, for installHUB’s own forms, from the form’s Variants tab. Forms you build yourself do not have variants, so copy the form instead.

The Pro plan and above. Account managers and administrators find Forms in the main menu, or at app.installhub.com/admin/forms.
