Some installs need a layout — where the consumer unit sits, where the cable run goes, where the panels mount. Field operatives draw the floorplan on a tablet with their finger or stylus; the drawing saves as a survey field and feeds into the customer pack alongside the photos and answers. Barcode scanning reads product serial numbers from the install plate. OCR reads MPAN stickers, meter labels and product spec plates. Both auto-fill the matching survey field.
