One installation subcontractor, your brand on everything

The same manufacturer as the Great Britain story, running a deliberately different model. myenergi Ireland covers the territory with a single installation partner and reviews every quotation before the customer sees it.

The problem

A whole country, and a brand that must not slip

myenergi does not install in Ireland. Someone else does. But the customer buys from myenergi, and every quote, every appointment and every field operative visit reflects on myenergi rather than on the contractor. The question was never “how do we find installers”. It was “how do we use a subcontractor without the customer ever experiencing one”.

They started with the full network toolkit, matching jobs across multiple installers. In practice one partner could cover the territory well, so they narrowed to that partner and kept the parts of the platform that mattered: lead review, quote review, branding and oversight.

The installation workflow

Enquiry to installed with one installation subcontractor

The workflow they run Alternative path available Add-on that would extend it
1

The enquiry arrives under myenergi branding

Customers in Ireland enquire through myenergi. The form, the confirmation and everything that follows carries myenergi’s identity. The subcontractor who will eventually do the work is not part of the customer’s first impression, and does not need to be.

2

myenergi reviews the lead

Every enquiry is looked at before it moves. This is the control point: myenergi decides what is a real job, what needs a conversation first, and what is ready to be priced. Only then does anything reach the installer.

3

The job goes to a single trusted installer

Ireland is covered by one installation partner rather than a competitive panel. myenergi tried the network model first and concluded that for a territory this size, one partner they knew well was the better answer. Every install and every service visit across the country goes to them.

Alternative path

Open the job to several installers

The same platform will match a job to a set of suitable installers on competency and proximity and let them compete for it. That is the model myenergi runs in Great Britain, where the territory is larger and no single partner could cover it. See how GB does it →

4

The installer quotes, and myenergi reviews it first

The subcontractor prices the work and submits the quotation to myenergi rather than to the customer. myenergi checks it, and releases it to the customer in myenergi branding. The customer receives a quote from myenergi. That is the whole point of the model: the subcontractor supplies the capability, myenergi keeps the relationship.

5

The customer accepts and pays

Acceptance and payment happen together, so the job is funded before anyone is scheduled to attend. There is no invoice chase at the end of a job that has already consumed a day of an field operative’s time.

6

The job transfers to the installer for the install

On acceptance the job passes to the installation partner with the scope, the property detail and the agreed price attached. Their operatives work it on the mobile app. myenergi can see the state of every job in the territory without asking anyone for an update.

The service workflow

What happens when something needs fixing

Service is the half of the business that never appears in a launch plan and never stops once the hardware is in the field. myenergi runs it through the same platform and the same partner.

1

The customer calls

Service requests arrive by phone to myenergi customer services. That call happens outside installHUB, which is a deliberate choice: a customer with a fault wants to speak to a person.

2

A service job is raised

Customer services capture the fault and raise it as a service job in installHUB, with the property, the hardware and the symptom recorded against it. From this point the service job is tracked exactly like an installation.

Add-on

Let the customer raise it themselves

A branded customer portal would let the homeowner log the fault, see the appointment that gets booked for it and follow the job through to closure, without a phone call and without waiting for office hours. The call route stays open for anyone who prefers it. myenergi has not turned this on yet, and it is the single largest reduction in inbound call handling available to them.

3

It is assigned to the installation partner

The same partner who handles installations handles service. The job lands with them, and they contact the customer to agree a time that works.

Add-on

Let the customer book the slot

Rather than a phone call to agree a time, the customer can be sent a link and pick from the slots the field operative actually has free. Fewer calls, fewer missed appointments, and the diary fills itself.

4

The visit is completed and recorded

The field operative works the job on the mobile app, records the outcome and closes it. myenergi sees the result against the customer’s record without asking for a report.

The outcome

What the model gives them

The brand never leaves

Every document the customer receives is a myenergi document, whoever holds the spanner.

Pricing stays consistent

Because every quote is reviewed before release, pricing across the territory is a decision rather than an accident.

Funded before scheduled

Payment at acceptance means no job consumes an field operative’s day before it is paid for.

Install and service in one place

The same record, the same partner and the same oversight cover the hardware for its whole life, not just the day it goes on the wall.
