APPOINTMENT OUTCOMES

Capture what really happened on every visit.

Field operatives pick the real outcome on submit. Schedulers see it on the appointment card. Jobs that need another visit drop back into the queue automatically, no phone call to the office, no cancel-and-recreate.

Sixty seconds, end to end.

ON THE PHONE

One tap from the field operative.

When the visit ends, the app asks what actually happened. The operative picks the outcome and submits the job in the same tap, no extra paperwork, no phone call to the office.

Completed successfully closes the appointment and locks the job.

Additional work required and Job failed send the job straight back to the scheduling queue.

Customer-side cancellations (weather, customer cancelled, equipment failure) are captured with a reason and a category.

Outcome reasons reuse your existing cancellation reason list, so reporting stays consistent.

IN THE SCHEDULER

Outcomes land on the card.

Every appointment now carries its outcome alongside its status. Category colours let the scheduling team triage a day in a glance.

Green for completed, amber for follow-up needed, red for cancelled.

Hover an appointment to see the outcome and the reason in the quick-info card.

Outcomes that need another visit appear in the Jobs Needing Scheduling panel automatically.

Same booking, same data, same history, no cancel-and-recreate workaround.

ADMIN CONTROLS

Tailor the outcomes your team sees.

Every company can configure the outcome list to match how it actually runs jobs. Four standard follow-up outcomes are seeded by default and your existing cancellation reasons are categorised automatically.

Name what the operative sees in the picker.

Category drives the pill colour on the scheduler card: Completed, Requires follow-up, or Cancelled.

Returns to scheduler? toggle decides whether any outcome sends the job back to the queue.

For shared jobs across a contractor network, opt in to email alerts whenever a contracted operative reports a non-completed outcome.

OUTCOME CATEGORIES

Three categories. Three workflows.

COMPLETED

Completed

Job is done. The appointment closes and the record is locked. Reporting counts it as a finished visit.

REQUIRES FOLLOW-UP

Requires follow-up

Something blocked a clean finish: additional work, no access, customer not in, equipment failure. The job drops back into Jobs Needing Scheduling automatically.

CANCELLED

Cancelled

Visit will not happen: customer cancelled, weather, other. The appointment ends without rebooking until somebody manually re-schedules.
