This release brings a significant step forward for installHUB — introducing a fully upgraded invoicing and payments suite, new ways to send quotes, richer survey capabilities, and a cleaner navigation experience. Alongside these headline features, this release includes a number of quality-of-life improvements and stability fixes based on your feedback.
Major New Features & Improvements
1. Upgraded Invoicing
installHUB’s invoicing system has been comprehensively overhauled to bring it in line with professional job-management and accounting software. You can now manage your billing with the same level of precision and flexibility you’d expect from a dedicated accounts package — all from within installHUB.
- Detailed line items: Add multiple line items to any invoice, each with its own quantity, unit price, and description — giving your customers full visibility of the work carried out.
- VAT type selection: Choose the correct VAT treatment per line item — Standard Rate, Reverse Charge, EC VAT MOSS, Zero Rated, or Exempt — essential for EU and international projects.
- Payment terms: Set payment terms directly on the invoice (Net 14, Net 30, Net 60 and more) so customers always know exactly when payment is due.
- Invoice issue date: Assign an issue date alongside the due date for accurate financial records.
- Sequential invoice numbering: A new per-company numbering system makes it far easier to track and reconcile invoices.

2. Create an Invoice Directly from a Quote
Once a customer accepts a quote, you can now convert it into a fully formed invoice with a single action. All line-level detail from the quote — descriptions, quantities, and pricing — is carried across automatically, saving you from re-entering the same information and reducing the risk of errors.
- Eliminates duplicate data entry between the quoting and invoicing stages.
- Lets you review and adjust the invoice before sending — add payment terms, update line items, or apply changes agreed with the customer.
- Creates a clear audit trail linking each invoice back to the originating quote.
3. New Payments Management Page
A dedicated Payments page gives you a bird’s-eye view of your entire invoicing pipeline across all jobs and customers. No more hunting through individual jobs to check payment status — everything is consolidated in one place.
- Outstanding invoices dashboard: See your total outstanding balance, overdue invoices (highlighted), and drafts at a glance.
- Paid this month: Track revenue collected in the current month and compare it to the previous month.
- Average days to pay: Understand how quickly your customers typically settle invoices.
- Quick filtering: Click any summary card to instantly filter the invoice list — for example, show only overdue invoices or only drafts.

4. Simplified Billing Navigation
A new top-level Finance section has been added to the main navigation menu, grouping all financial pages together so you can switch between them instantly.
- Finance now appears in the main menu directly after Jobs, and expands to reveal Payments and Invoices.
- The Customers menu item has been repositioned above Jobs for a more logical workflow order.
- Everything billing-related is now one click away, wherever you are in the app.

5. Send Quotes via SMS
You can now send quotes directly to a customer’s mobile phone via SMS — perfect for customers who are more likely to open a text than an email, or for following up quickly on the go.
- When sending a quote, the customer’s mobile number is pre-filled automatically (just as their email address is today).
- Choose to send via email only, SMS only, or both simultaneously.
- You can edit the mobile number on the fly if you need to send to a different contact.
- SMS sending is available on eligible subscriptions with a valid payment method.
6. Multi-Image Upload Question Type
Surveys and forms can now include a Multi-Image question type, allowing installers and engineers to upload multiple photos in response to a single question — ideal for capturing before-and-after evidence, site conditions, or comprehensive installation documentation.
- Up to 100 images can be uploaded per question, giving your field staff the freedom to document as thoroughly as needed.
- Images are displayed in a gallery view on the job information form, making it easy to review a full set of photos at once.
- Each image can be given a title, description, and tags — making it simple to find and reference specific photos later.
- Fully supported on the installHUB mobile app.

Fixes & Improvements
This release also addresses a number of issues reported by users. The improvements below make day-to-day use smoother and more reliable.
Better Address Lookup Results
The postcode address lookup now returns up to 30 results (previously limited to far fewer), so you’re much less likely to have to type an address manually when your property doesn’t appear in the list.
Readable Email Attachment Names
Email attachments sent to customers — such as quotes and invoices — are now named clearly (e.g. Quotation-IH-2026-0042.pdf) instead of a random ID. Customers can now identify attachments without having to download them first.
User Management Available on Expired Subscriptions
Account administrators can now manage users (add, enable, or disable team members) even when a subscription has lapsed. This is especially helpful for companies returning to installHUB or where a key contact has changed.
Fixed: Image Preview in Competency Evidence
Images uploaded to competency evidence (PQQ) fields now display correctly when tapped to preview, and the back button correctly closes the preview screen.
