Choose which installation types, manufacturers and products your company works with. Products you enable are the ones customers can pick when they fill in your enquiry forms. Everything here lives under Settings > Products & Pricing.
Who can use it
Account managers, and anyone whose custom role includes managing products and product types. Other users don’t see these pages.
Turn installation types on
Installation types, such as EV Charger, Solar PV or Heat pump, decide which jobs you can create. You can switch them on in the Product Catalogue (below) or on the Installation Types page, which also holds each type’s colour, durations and required certifications. See Set up installation types and appointment outcomes.
Choose your manufacturers and products
- Open Product Catalogue. Each installation type is listed.
- Click Manage products on a type to open it.
- Use Enable installation type to switch the type on or off for your company.
- Under Product catalogue, switch on the manufacturers you install. Enable all and Disable all change them in one go.
- Open a manufacturer to see Available products for this manufacturer, and switch on the products you offer, or use Enable all.
Changes save as you switch them. A manufacturer’s products can only be switched on while the manufacturer itself is on.
Add a product that isn’t listed
- On the Product Catalogue, click Add product.
- Choose the Installation type.
- Under Manufacturer, pick one with Select existing, or click Add new and enter the New manufacturer name.
- Do the same for Category.
- Enter the Product name and Model.
- Click Add product.
The product is added to your catalogue under that installation type and manufacturer.
Product Settings
Open Product Settings. Activate newly added products automatically decides what happens when installHUB adds new products to the catalogue:
- On: they’re switched on in your account straight away.
- Off: they stay off until you switch them on. Use this if you only ever fit a fixed set of products.
Click Save.
Where products show up
- On your customer enquiry forms, where the customer picks the product they want. To stop customers choosing a product on a particular form, use Disable Product Selection on that enquiry form link. See Enquiry form links.
- On the job, as the product the customer chose. Users allowed to manage the job’s product can change it there.
