In the Customer job view each job is a card. This guide explains what each part of a card means, including the kit pill and the contractor site visits.
What a job card shows
- A coloured dot for the type of visit: Survey, Install, Service, or Cancelled. The colour key sits under the board.
- The field operative booked for the visit.
- Product pills for the work, for example EV Charger and Solar PV. Two types of work show as two pills, and they wrap onto a second line rather than being cut off.
- The site postcode.
- A kit pill, when your company uses Job checklists (see below).
The kit pill
When your company uses Job checklists, each card can show where the kit is:
- Kit delivered to site: the kit is on site.
- Delivery booked, with the date: a delivery is arranged.
- Kit: collection: the kit is being collected rather than delivered. See Mark a job’s kit as being collected.
- Kit not confirmed: the kit is not yet sorted.
Contractor site visits
Turn on Show contractor visits to add site visits to the board. Each one is its own card with a dashed border and a trade icon, for example a scaffold going up or coming down, or roof works on site. A card shows the request type, the customer and the on-site or removal date.
If an install no longer sits inside its scaffold window, the card shows a warning, for example “Same half-day as the installation”. It is a flag to check, not a block: the booking still stands.
Contractor visits show for companies that use Job checklists, and each request type has a Show on the jobs calendar switch in Settings.
